On Monday we had a performance with Alex from NED’s Mindset Mission.

‍NED’s Mindset Mission is a positive behaviour programme. A performer took our students on an interactive educational journey filled with storytelling, illusions, yo-yo tricks and humour. NED’s message and memorable friends inspired students, promoted academic achievement, and supported our school goals.

A reminder that if you wish to purchase a yoyo for your childen they will only be available until tomorrow.  It is cash only and order forms are available from the School Office

As part of National Science week we had three young Tassie scientists from UTAS visit our school and presented informative sessions to our Grades 3-6 classes.  Angus, Victoria and Zane shared their knowledge of chemistry, medical research and neurology.

This week students were sent home with enough envelopes for all lunch order days for Term 3 as well as another calendar.  If you haven't sighted them please check your child's school bag or contact the School Office.

Next Tuesday 20th August, southern schools across Tasmanian will be participating in the SPSSA Winter Carnival for 2024! There were 6 sports on offer: AFL, AFLW, hockey, netball, soccer and tennis!

In the lead up to this Winter Carnival Day, Grade 5/6 students had to be nominated for a sport by their schools and attend trials. Those that were successful at the trials made the team for their region and attend training/s at other schools.

This year we have nominated 17 of our Grade 5/6 students and 15 of our Molesworth students were chosen to represent our region at Netball, AFL, AFLW and Soccer.  An incredible achievement, especially for our Year 5 students! To those that went to trials and were not selected, we wish you all the best next year!
