FROM OUR PRINCIPAL MRS LEANNE SMITH
I would just like to start with a very big thank you for the support and understanding from our community as we work our way through these constantly changing times. Thanks to all the wonderful teachers who continue to care for all students in their classes as they present engaging relevant learning opportunities every day. Thanks to all staff for supporting one another, helping out when needed and offering help and support at any time. In particular to Telisa and Anita who continue to address all requests and queries that come through the office with professionalism and care.
Today the Department have announced that this term for students will finish next Friday, the 3rd April. The following week staff will be busy taking part in professional learning ready to deliver appropriate and relevant online learning opportunities next term.
Every day we are keeping up to date with the news from the DoE and passing on all relevant information as soon as we can. Our Facebook page and Schoolzine are very important for communication and sharing of ideas and activities. Seesaw is also being used by the 1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 4/5 and 5/6 classes and we are currently looking at our options for Prep and Kinder. The office are following up with login details and sending them out either by email, if we have a current email address, or by post in the next couple of days. If you have an email address that we do not currently have and can be used please let the office know. If you are unsure about Seesaw I am more than happy to talk with you and help in any way I can.
The most important thing we can do is look after ourselves, our families and one another. Its important to keep up to date with information but its also important to enjoy everything else each day. If ever you need a break with your kids here are some great brain breaks you can do together.

THE SMARTEST GIANT IN TOWN
At school we love to read so here is a clip of a wonderful book. "The Smartest Giant in Town" And below are a few activities that you can do with your children at home. Share their thoughts and ideas via their SeeSaw login.
* Can you design some new clothes for the giant?
* The goat had a boat, can you make a boat that floats? Look at different objects that float and sink.
* Can you find the rhyming words in the story? Do you know any other words that rhyme?
* Can you make a giant out of play dough?
* George the giant is very tall, can you measure yourself and your family to see how tall you all are?
