As we continue each day to focus on the values of Connection, Respect, Responsibility, Growth, and Courage, we see the displays growing each day.

One of our Grade 2 students, Thomas, who participates in the Mega Maths extension program with Miss Gourlay, was so excited to see that his maths joke he submitted was selected as JOKE OF THE WEEK!!

During the last week of term 2, on Thursday July 3^rd our Year 1/2 and 5/6 classes went to Swisherr Hoops to showcase their amazing basketball skills! Each class was coached by an experienced Basketball Tasmania coach.

Our students participated in various basketball activities and games. We learnt some new skills and activities and played some old favourites. Thank you to the Swisherr team and Coach Gavin and Coach Curtis for such a fantastic morning! Mrs Hanlon, who often does relief here at Molesworth, is Coach Gavin’s Mum, and it was so funny for the kids when they made the connection.

Thank you to Mrs Watson and Mrs Barber for accompanying the classes and to our fabulous parent volunteers, Mrs Harris, Mrs Duncombe, Ms Johns, Ms Lawrence, and Ms Reidsimmons.

The results are in! The School Association Trivia Night hosted at the Welcome Swallow Brewery in the school holidays was a huge success. Lots of fun was shared on the night, and over $1000 was raised that will be put towards projects within the school.
