Teambuilding
Students participate in 5-6 cooperative problem solving activities. These challenges are designed to extend student’s problem solving skills, while also incorporating teamwork. The students work in small groups to complete the activities in a set amount of time.
Molesworth has two team building areas
Team Building and Problem Solving Aims
- To encourage cooperation and the ability to work as part of a team
- To promote effective communication between students
- To develop children’s confidence and self esteem
- To encourage children to experiment and test ideas
- To increase awareness of others needs and abilities
- To develop children’s agility and physical coordination
- To encourage helping, sharing and turn taking.
Location
There are 3 team building areas. All of these areas are set in bush surroundings, with the challenges making use of the natural environment as well as manmade structures.
Time Allocation
Depending on the number of activities, team building will take anywhere from 1 1/2 hours to 2 1/2 hours.
