Aboriginal Peoples of Tasmania
The Aboriginal Peoples of Tasmania program has been developed in conjunction with the Aboriginal Education Unit.
It is a full day program suitable for Grade 2 upwards.
It includes the following:
- Discover pre and post colonisation history in relation to Aboriginal Peoples of Tasmania.
- Learn about contemporary activities of Aboriginal Peoples of Tasmania.
- Go for a bushwalk to explore land use, bush foods and shelter.
- Cook damper over a fire and make shelters in the bush.
- Programs can be tailored to suit individual needs.
